Residence 611 is a perfect amalgamation of art and science reflecting upon the times that we live in.
Layers of concrete & whites juxtaposed with bespoke aluminium louvered patterns create an ambiguous play of surfaces, planes, scales and volumes.
It sets an example of how a fixed set of 3 materials can create such a philosophical backdrop to all the spaces. Though the materials are the same, yet each space is so unique in terms of enclosure, quality of light, visual connectivity, interaction with nature and hence experience.
The story unfolds with all the semi public and private spaces lying on the ground and the first floor respectively, with a twist of public spaces floating on the mezzanines, physically disconnected yet visually connected throughout the house.
The first floor carries a therapeutic & spiritual vibe and houses a meditation space with a psychedelic play of natural light and shadow, infused with a touch of nature, elevating the human experience beyond the known dimensions.
